Some decided on a forehead-gracing kiss-curl à la Josephine Baker: Take Sydney Sweeney, who tucked her blonde locks into a swirling bun, with two forehead-gracing curls complementing her beaded cutout Miu Miu dress. Coco Jones adopted a similar approach to glam, sporting a singular zigzag strand with the rest of her mane pulled back into a floor-sweeping braid. Others opted for a modern iteration of finger waves, as evidenced by Laura Amos, or fabulous swoop bangs that could easily have been plucked out of the past. Simone Biles also offered endless inspo; the Olympian paired her retro style with a cobalt blue bedazzled minidress.
