The vibe is everything that you might expect from a British rural retreat: cozy and cosseting, but Lucknam has that little extra sparkle thanks to its modern touches.

At its heart lies the spa outhouse, which features a stunning indoor-outdoor swimming and hydrotherapy pool with daybeds in abundance (there is no fighting it out for a sun lounger here).
