Input from both sides is equally important. “Most of the answers I’ve found didn’t come from one perfect medical appointment,” says Brenda Rogers, who takes a GLP-1 agonist and is a community ambassador with Obesity Matters. “They came from community — from honest conversations with other people taking these medications, obesity advocates, support groups — and healthcare professionals who truly understand obesity as a chronic disease, not a character flaw.”
