A great end-of-the-year tradition is to look back and think about its most memorable moments and to analyze their meaning. On this episode of The Run-Through, Nicole Phelps is joined by Vogue Runway’s Jose Criales-Unzueta, who chronicled every single show, pop star fashion moment, and minor kerfluffle (no phones at The Row!) of 2024, and Laia Garcia-Furtado, who collected the shoes, jackets, and even the runway soundtrack that defined the year in a piece about its It-items. The three of them look back at 2024, beginning with John Galliano’s sensational show for Maison Margiela Artisanal which took place in January in Paris, all the way through Brat green, Jonathan Anderson’s costume designer extracurricular activities, and Cole Escola riding a pink flamingo at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.
In addition to a chat about the year’s top vacancies, they also reveal some of their fashion predictions for 2025. Is business casual at the club about to make a comeback? Listen below to find out.
