Congratulations are in order for supermodel Gisele Bündchen, who recently gave birth to her third child—though her first with boyfriend Joaquim Valente. Bündchen, who also shares an 11-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son with ex-husband Tom Brady, has elected not to publicly share the gender of her newborn baby, with TMZ reporting that she and Valente were waiting until the child’s birth to learn the gender for themselves.
Bündchen has been officially dating Valente since June of 2023, but the two met in 2021 when she began taking jiu-jitsu classes with him. (Valente is the co-founder of Valente Brothers, a family-owned jiu-jitsu studio in Miami; Bündchen had signed her teenage son up for lessons with Valente before deciding to enroll herself.) The happy couple took a babymoon to Costa Rica recently, and they’ve been spotted riding bikes and walking their dog in the Miami neighborhood where they’ve built their home. “It feels like Brazil—I love how warm people are,” Bündchen told Vogue of Miami in April.
Bündchen has stayed mostly tight-lipped about her relationship with Valente, telling the New York Times last March: “I really don’t want to make my life a tabloid.” Thus, it’s not entirely surprising that the new parents haven’t yet shared photos or other information about their new bundle of joy on social media; hopefully, the two are safely hunkered down and enjoying their first days with their now family of five.
