After 12 days of men’s shows, we’ve finally come to the end of part one of the fashion marathon. An important lesson learned this season is that it’s not just Gen Z types who are channeling their inner Emily in Paris and sporting a beret—all manner of street stylers are choosing this very French essential to keep warm. And it’s essential for a reason; whether in denim, wool, or even fur, the chapeau always looks très chic.
While it used to be that no one wore white after Labor Day, rules were made to be broken, and in Europe winter whites managed to brighten up the streets even on the cloudiest days.
