Schiaparelli’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear presentation in Paris was carefully planned down to every multiple belt-buckled detail. The Texas-themed show focused heavily on Yeehaw-ified version of the house codes but instead Southern when it came to glam (think big hair, bold lips), designer Daniel Roseberry kept it fresh and simple across makeup and hair—and that included the nails, too.
Created by nail artist Cam Tran, the look on hand (literally) was delightfully minimal, in line with the naked manicure trend we have been seeing all over the red carpets. Models like Gigi Hadid and Mona Tougaard wore super-short nails that were clean and buffed. The point of the naked manicure is to see that there’s no product on the nail—just fingers in the nude. A Schiaparelli-level bragging right if there’s ever been one.
If you’re thinking of skipping your next mani appointment to join in on the trend, a few things to keep in mind: Most important is the state of your nails. You can’t fake healthy, strong nails; instead, they take work. If this isn’t something you’re born with (or maybe you’ve been on the hard-gel train for so long that your nails are simply thin), one thing you can do is eat a diet rich in these eight foods and try a supplement.
So far, celebrities like Anya Taylor-Joy, Reneé Zellweger, and Nicola Peltz Beckham have all joined in on the polish-free trend.
