For example, if you’re itchy after you take a bath or shower, lower the water temperature, try bathing less frequently, use lotion immediately after bathing, and speak with your doctor about using over-the-counter antihistamines.
If you have poor circulation and live in a climate with cold winters or hot summers, take measures to protect your hands and feet. Stay indoors if possible when temperatures are extreme, and make sure to wear warm gloves, socks, and shoes during the winter months.
Avoid hot tubs and heated whirlpools, which can also help with itching.
