The experimental drug retatrutide delivered another round of impressive weight loss and blood sugar management results, according to phase 3 clinical trials results shared by drugmaker Eli Lilly. The latest trials demonstrated weight loss of up to nearly 23 percent of starting body weight — positioning retatrutide as perhaps the most powerful weight loss drug yet developed for adults with heart disease or type 2 diabetes.
